Strepguard® With Havlogen, 1 dose vial SKU: 060INV18-1 [printable] Intervet Streptococcus Equi Bacterial Extract An adjuvanted, concentrated, enzyme extract of Streptococcus equi.* + Recommended for use in healthy horses as an aid in the prevention of strangles disease due to Streptococcus equi infection. Dose: Inject 1 mL intramuscularly using aseptic techniques. Repeat in 3-4 weeks. A 1 mL dose should be administered annually or prior to expected exposure. Caution: Store at 35° to 45°F (2° to 7°C). Shake well before using. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Certain hypersensitive individuals may demonstrate local or generalized reactions, sometimes severe, following exposure to streptococcal proteins. To minimize reactions, free exercise is recommended after injection. Anaphylactoid reactions may occur. Antidote: Epinephrine.
