When you have a 3-year old, you have to find all sorts of things to keep him occupied. I have one of these in his stall because he finishes eating faster than my other horse. When he does, he starts trying to open his stall door, chews on the stall door, and hangs his head over the divider to harrass my other horse. Because of this, I decided to get him something to play with. It actually helps keep him occupied until my other horse finishes eating.

My horse tried this when we first installed it, but I haven't seen him use it since. I may try putting some molasses on it like another reviewer suggested and see if that helps. It seems very sturdy and I like the idea of it, but so far he has not shown much interest.

Buddy liked it for a while, but I try to rotate his toys, and since it is a permanent installation, he got bored of it quickly. I found it a bit difficult to install, but could have just been me.
