I've never used shaklee on a horse, but I know that it works great as a household cleaner. I've used it on everything from waterbottles to my car. It's super concentrated so you only need to use a little bit.

I have used Basic H and Basic h2 on all my animals for years. It is so good for their coat, leaves no residue, and in between shampoos I can spritz them with it and towel them off for a "refresher". It doesn;'t hurt their eyes, and it makes their coats all shiny. GOod for keeping insects off them, and also it is good for scrathces and cuts. If you put a drop in their water it will help alleviate any hair balls .
