Wintec Synthetic Western Saddle

While learning to ride western pleasure, I learned on a synthetic saddle. We would tighten it up as good as we could but the instructor would pull on one side while we would climb on from the other side. She did tell me that if I chose a synthetic saddle over the leather saddle I would have to remember to get off now and then to re-tighten the saddle. As you ride more and get use to handling stuff and build strength and muscle, you can adjust to a lighter weight leather saddle. I like both the leather and synthetic, but now that I am riding a lot more, I am looking at getting another leather saddle.
Pros: light, easy to clean, easy to take care of; good looks
Cons: slips a little, have to tighen during ride

Wintec Western Saddle

Great low maintenance saddle. It is so lightweight, the back can pop up a bit. To combat this, I fold a leg wrap and place under the front of the saddle between the saddle and pad. This works great, and keeps the saddle even with my horse's back.
Pros: low maintenance
Cons: so light weight, back can pop up
