I use the Shaklee Basic H spray for all my animals as needed... for horses, sheep, dogs, cats, cows, chickens, humans and any animal that needs bug protection or cleaning."

"It works wonderfully as others have said for bathing animals, but I use a slightly diluted mixture in a spray bottle with a "pointy top" so that I can direct the mixture where needed and control the amount. It also helps when they are taller than me...and to get it on their legs, tails etc."

"It takes VERY LITTLE to make a good suds. If I have an animal that is jumpy, I will dilute the mixture more, so I don't waste it if they are moving around."

"For FLY SPRAY, I use 4 oz. of Basic H to 12 oz. of water in a 16 oz. spray bottle. I just got into buying the Shaklee cleaning products. I am hard to impress. This Basic H product works to clean any & everything. It smells good but is all natural. It's safe for us, pets, children & the environment. You mix it in spray bottles labeled for Windows, All purpose, Degreaser. 1 bottle lasts forever. It does actually work great too. I was pretty dubious as to if it actually would clean my windows/puppy art. It cleans awesome. I don't sell the stuff so I am not trying to push it. I have switched all my cleaning products over to Shaklee now. All their products are all natural, safe for my pets. They are green products so safe for the envirnment. They come w/ very little packaging so less goes to landfill. It's a win/win all the way around. Now if I have to use the "other" toilet bowl cleaner or something the smell really bothers me because it's toxic. We have taken all the toxins & Carcinagens out of our house by using these healthy choice cleaning products. I couldn't believe how potent the old toilet bowl cleaner was when I did have to use it. The healthy cleans as well or better so why use the toxic ones around pets. Our lungs & my pets have to be healthier since I stopped using all the toxic cleaners from off the shelf @ super stores. My sister-in-law used to sell Shaklee, and I got a lot of Basic H from her. Just a couple of drops in the kitchen sink does your dishes -- suds are nice but unnecessary. I rub a bit into my palms before doing something automotive, because grease will then come off easily. Particularly good for daily damp wiping of pet feeding areas.

I get this product by the gallon and then put it into smaller containers. I use it for washing dishes, cleaning, you name it. I like the fact that it is non toxic and you don't have to worry about the animals getting into it. I like that it comes in bulk. You do have to get it from a distributer and it is a bit pricey but well worth it.
