Prevents sand colic

posted 5 years ago

If you live in a sandy area, it's best if you give psyllium to your horses to help prevent sand colic. It's easy to use as it's in a powder form and you just pour it on their feed. You only give for one week, per month, so it's also pretty economical. It's much cheaper than those vet bills!

Pros: Contains 100% whole blond psyllium husk, prevents sand colic

Cons: None

I think this helps save my horse

Our pasture is very sandy and it has always been a worry. The sand sticks to this product as it passes through the intestines thereby avoiding impaction type colics.

Pros: Sand adheres to it in intestines

Cons: little bit on pricey side, but well worth it
