We've used this a number of times on closed (no opne wound) leg injuries. The stuff worked great, we saw a dramatic improvement in just one application.

It comes off fairly easily as long as it is completely dry. We used it with brown paper and leg wraps.

Pros: Comes in wide-mouthed bucket allowing ready access.

Cons: It is messy, but that can't be helped. Wish the tub had a better lid.

If your horse has an abcess apply the poultice then some cotton, then vet wrap, then duct tape.

Pros: draws out infection

Cons: smelly

this works on barbed wire cuts sore muscles but it is hard to keep in place

Pros: dependable,

Cons: hard to keep in place

Really good to use after a hard workout

Pros: Great for tightening legs

Cons: Messy...but what poultice isnt?
