A really good joint supplement
posted 5 years ago
I love these because they are in wafer form, so are very easy to give. I don't always grain my horses, 'cause they are all easy keepers and usually round as barrels. With powders and liquids, they pretty much have to be given with grain. And, I only have one horse that needs a joint supplement, my 29 year old gelding, Casey. So, when I go to throw them their hay, I can just slip a wafer to Casey without the others even knowing. They really are a very good option for those who have a bunch of horses in a pasture, and only one or two need a supplement. And unlike liquids, they won't freeze, so can be stored in my unheated barn.
Last, but certainly not least, they are very reasonably priced compared to other supplements.
Pros: Convenient, convenient, convenient
Cons: Not as concentrated as some others
