My Vet Recommended Glucosamine

posted 6 years ago

My vet recommended to have one of my horses start taking Glucosamine. I asked the employees at the local horse store, Horse Town, for suggestions. They showed me the products and said that most of their clients liked Glyco Flex. I bought it and used it on my horse, adding it to her feed each day. I did notice that she was moving better, and having less "creaking" when she moved. She did not notice any difference in her feed, so it must have tasted ok, too.

Pros: Helps with joint and arthritic issues in horses

Cons: Expensive
