Mine is Weaver

posted 5 years ago

I got my Weaver 10 foot lead line from my friends at the shelter and I just love it. It's just like the lead that Clinton Anderson recommends for backing and tying up. It is endorsed by Stacy Westfall, one of my horse training heroes. It has a extremely nice durable nickel snap. The snap clips with one hand and swivels. The rope clasp is engraved with the Weaver name. The rope is not too thick which makes tying easy.

Just an awesome product that matches my new Weaver halter. It will last me years.

Pros: Great to the touch, easy to tie

Cons: None

Wonderful

posted 5 years ago

I LOVE these and there are so many colors to choose from. I bought new duds for all 3 girls when it came to their birthdays. We kept the old ones for training times or back-ups. We might even get another set just for them to wear on parade days and special events like that.

Pros: so strong and so many colors

Cons: N/A

Weaver leads the way

posted 5 years ago

weaver leads are great. very fussy when it comes to these for the horses..this is an important item, and quality and durability is very important...want to feel like you actually have something in your hand..Have a preferance for cotton, nylon is way to slippery for me...

Pros: excellent quality

Cons: don't like the nylon ones

We have several!

posted 5 years ago

I must have about 10 of these leads. They are cheap and work well for basic tasks. I do have one horse that likes to pull back on the rope when she is tied to the trailer and she often will break the snap. I keep extra ropes on hand for that, the price is right.

Pros: Affordable

Cons: Dont hold up long

Great Lead.

posted 5 years ago

This lead is great for everyone. The assortment of colors makes them a fan of everyone. the strong but comfortable lead makes it easy on your hands but durable enough for the strongest horses. I love mine, it has been through a lot but still holds tough.

Pros: strong.

Cons: none.
