Good comb

The stripping comb does get tangles out of the mane. It helps if you add conditioner to the mane prior to combing it, and the horse will stand still for it better. My horse is very patient and will let you comb his mane, but he doesn't like to stand there too long, unless you bring him lots of treats.
Pros: Gets the job done quickly
Cons: The horse doesn't really like it

Easy To Use

I bought one of these years ago to use on a horse that hated having his mane pulled. This made short work of the chore and I have used it ever since on all my horses. It thins and shortens at the same time, and stays sharp forever.
Pros: Folding, Sharp
