Softer than most curry brushes
posted 4 years ago
I've used it on a friend's two horses (warmblood & a TB). They both roll in the mud and I find that this works really well on dried mud, espcially on the neck and legs. The warmblood just thinks he's in heaven getting a neck massage. It is also an excellent tool for horses with sensitive skin (TBs for one). When shedding time comes around it does a great job loosening the hair. You can also use it when bathing to help remove stubborn stains without causing discomfort in the sensitive horse. I just both another one for DD's TB today and I got it 50% off Yes!
Pros: Inexpensive. Massages, loosens hair and dried mud.
Cons: I get cramps in my hands if I use it too long.

Rubbter curry
posted 4 years ago
Being new at having horses I had borrowed a few different items to give a bath to the horses. One item was a glove, the other one of these rubber grooma combs. I liked using this much better because I could realy clean thier skin and coats, they leaned into the pressure as if it felt really good to them and when I was finished, it was easy to clean it off. This was great to use, the glove just moved around so much on my hand, I had more control with using this product.
Pros: Easy to use when giving a bath, easy to clean, horses like the way it feels
Cons: a little hard to hold on to when wet

We love GROOMAS! This product works very well, especially for the shedding season. The only problem I found was the color choice as the kids wanted a choose....LOL!
We are even more fond of the softer Grooma as the horses love that rubbed all over their face. It seems to feel great for them and makes them relax.
Pros: Works well
Cons: Color choices

Great for muddy horses
posted 4 years ago
Our horses love to roll in the mud, so these brushes get used a lot! It also massages the skin, which can give your horse's skin a good rub down. It also works well for rubbing in skin ointments or lice powder (I worked at a horse camp with 30 horses and lice was an occasional problem).
Pros: easy to use
Cons: none

Gets deep down dirt and hair.
posted 4 years ago
These are awesome at getting the deep down dirt and when your horse is shedding. I believe it loosens more hair than any other curry comb. An added bonus it it also massages the horses skin! The only drawback for me is that it has no effect on the thick mud "cakes" on our horses.
Pros: Removes deep down dirt.
Cons: Doesn't do much for thick dirt cakes.
