Another use for baby oil

posted 5 years ago

I've seen this used on horses who develop dry peeling skin around the mouth where the bit some time rubs. I personally prefer using mineral oil when baby oil is called for because mineral oil is usually fragrance free, where as baby oil is not. If you use a lot of it (for show coats) you may want to consider buying it by the gallon as a tack shop.

Snip from J&J's web site:

Mineral Oil, Fragrance>>

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: Contains fragrance

Love the baby oil

posted 6 years ago

We use this to get sweet dew poison off the horses. It works great and does'nt dry out the area where they have it. Most of the time it's around the ankles. It also leaves your hands soft.

Pros: Can be used for numerous things

Cons: none

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
