A wound care product that contains many natural ingredients that are in a catch-all salve that we keep on hand for the human members of our family. The ingredients include tea tree oil, calendula oil, thyme oil, myrrh oil, wheat germ oil and lemon balm oil.

According to the product's website it can be used on wounds, burns, cracked heels and abrasions.

It is also non-carcinogenic as compared to Nitrofurazone.

IMHO it is a great product and my first choice for non-infected wounds, but it is not a replacement for nitrofurazone which has it's place in the treatments of certain wounds. I also like it because I prefer to use as few (synthetic) chemicals for my sake as well as the horse.

Since I have more than one horse, and one is a youngster, my horses constantly have boo boos. This is easy to apply, stays on pretty well, and helps protect the inflicted area.
