I like this graduated electric fence tester because it shows you exactly how well your fence is working. Push the prong into the ground and touch the tip of the tester to the electric fence. It can't get easier than that. It IS hard to read in the sun, though, so find a shady spot, or wait till the sun is low to use it.
Pros: Easy To Use, Inexpensive, Graduated
Cons: Hard to Read in the Sun
