Supplement for Pregnant and Lactating Mares
posted 5 years ago
Yes, I am a disciple of dac products but it is because they work! dac Orange Superior is my choice for all of my broodmares and for my showstring. It is what I feed to my youngsters once they have outgrown the dac Colt Grower. I noticed a marked difference the first breeding season I used it - my newborn foals hit the ground literally looking a week old, filled out and plump! It is a very comprehensive supplement and there is no need to add anything else when feeding it. All of my young horses and show horses get this as well. The only drawback, as with many granular supplements, is that some horses figure out how to pick around it. I remedy this with dac Oil so that it mixes with the Orange and the problem is solved. You can read about this and other dac products at www.feeddac.com If you are in NY and in need of a dac dealer, www.lallapaloosaacres.com is the place to contact and they will get you set right up. Top trainers around the country use dac and they use it because it is the very best.
Pros: Outstanding results surpassed by none
Cons: sometimes can pick around with grain, can be hard to find initially
