Great source of Omega 3 & 6 Fatty Acids
posted 5 years ago
I cannot go through a show season without dac Oil. The Direct Action Company has proven time and again why their products are superior and it takes a lot to sell me on a supplement. The oil is 97% fat and very high in both Omega 3 and Omega 6 Fatty Acids. A great coat starts from within and diet is key...the oil works quickly. All my show horses, broodmares, breeding stallions and youngsters are fed the oil year round. This can be a messy product as with any oil so here is what I do: I buy the biggest size (lots of horses) and pump some into a squeeze bottle like a sports drink bottle, ketchup bottle, etc. I carry the bottle with me and as I dump grain to each horse, I top it with the dac. The oil is also very handy for getting granular supplements into those horses with flexible noses who notoriously pick around the supplement - top the supplement with the oil and mix well - no picking around! This is a very palatable product and I've never had a horse that didn't take to it within 3 or 4 days of feeding it. It has never caused digestive upset in one of my horses. In addition, our dac representative is one of the friendliest most educated reps you could ask for and does a fantastic job of answering any questions. I get mine from here: www.lallapaloosaacres.com You can read more about dac Oil here: www.feeddac.com
Pros: Puts a great shine on and excellent for adding fat to diet
Cons: Can be messy
