Ariat Cobalt Paddock Boots
(5 out of 5)
Ariat Paddock Boots continue the brand’s tradition of quality and durability.
June 29, 2010 1:20 pm | By Zootoo Editor Mary T.
For affordability, durability, and style, I have long been a fan of Ariat's line of boots. Beyond using them for riding and working, I have come to depend on my Ariats for all-purpose cold-weather use - even more than flashier snow and rain boots. And the harder I work these gems, the better they look and the more comfortable they become.
Even for paddock boots, don't be afraid of the snugness of these shoes. My rule of thumb when selecting boots is to make sure I have about a quarter-inch give in the heel when I walk.
As with any boot, regular oiling and care will keep scuffs and scratches at a minimum - unless you're like me and prefer a weathered look. But even if the exterior becomes slightly worn, you can rest assured that these boots will hold up against any task you throw their way.
Pros: As with all Ariat gear, these boots are functional yet stylish. As a bonus, the coziness of the boot only increases over time.
Cons: Make sure to fine-tune the fit for maximum comfort.
