My horse died last Spring (30+ years old), but in all the years that I had him, I only needed to purchase 2 Wugs for him. The first one lasted and lasted and lasted. I finally needed to replace it two years ago, but his original Wug was in use for almost 12 years. And it got plenty of use, through some very long and hard winters! I would absolutely recommend this product. It's very well-made.
