Good info

This is a great book. I also have the dog one, too. For general info on all systems, this is a good book. It doesn't have everything--but that is where your vet comes in!

Pros: Covers wide array

Cons: Some disorders are missing

Good Reference Guide

Provides basic information for horse owners that want to understand how to take care of their horses and keep them in good health. This was written by experts from the faculty and staff of the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine.

Pros: From a great school.

Anyone with a horse should have this complete guide. It's a huge compilationof material from many sources. It's a must have!

Although I don't have a horse I do have this book and it is filled with a lot of information regarding horses. I have used it on a few school projects and it give some great information.
