A Great Resource for Horse Owners

This is a fairly large book at 700 pages, and it's filled with tons of information about equine health issues. It begins by discussing the disease Process (Shock, Fever, Anemia and other elements). It then goes on to list illnesses and injuries by anatomical location. These sections begin with a fairly extensive over view of the anatomy of that body part followed by descriptions of ailments, their diagnose, treatment and prognosis. A good reference book for your barn.
Pros: Well Organized, large glossary, technical but not over technical
Cons: Only has B&W photos and illustrations
