My grandaughter not only has a deaf dalmation mix, but one that is partially blind. This dog sees 1/2 out of both eyes -- so she is blind on the left side.
She read one book that was very simple. She mostly searched the net for articles and info on deaf dogs.
Willow is 2, well behaved, cut as a button. She sits and waits for her dinner, knows several signs. REally a delightful dog.
I worry a bit as she gets older and her eyesite fails more... I think she will startle and possibly bite... Just something to watch.
