This product is great for removing nitrates, nitrites, ammonia, chlorine, and chloramines as well as toxic organics that are in the water. It is safe for both salt and freshwater tanks. If you have a high ammonia level that is killing off fish, this product will probably not help reduce the ph in time to save all the fish. Can cause fish to die if too high a dose is added so be precise with measurement.

We have had a chronic ammonia problem that no one can solve. I put this in at every water exchange and the fish are surviving. It does smell terrible though, especially after the bottle has been open awhile. The smell in the fish tank goes away in a few hours.

This is a great product. It has saved my fish. It removes nitrates, nitrites, ammonia, chlorine and chloramines. Might be the best thing since sliced bread... the only way to improve it might be if it set and maintained PH all in one solution!
