This is a supplement to add to help create the healthy bacteria you need to "eat" the ammonia in a fish tank and begin the cycling process. When I set up my tank initially it seemed to work beautifully. I have since had to start over and it doesn't seem to be working as well. It may just be something else going on in my tank.
Pros: Worked the first time
Cons: Didn't work the second time
