I seem to have a problem with keeping my aquarium at a good ph, with mine leaning toward acidity more often than not. I think it has as much to do with our water here as anything else. I first tried Bullseye 7.0 and was impressed with how it helped the ph and did maintain it for a while. I haven't been able to obtain a totally neutral 7.0 but it does help keep it from going to low on the acidity scale so I'm happy with this product. It's relatively cheap with Wal-Mart having the best price on it in my area.

Cons: Doesn't quite get it to 7.0

I've never used a target pH solution, as I always used up/down methods in the past tanks I have setup. I was very impressed with the effectiveness of the product, and it worked as described. I only had a problem with the time from of 'holding target' when the lil' breeders multiplied to fast and I was hit with to many fish and to much waste.

Pros: Simple to use

Cons: Wish it was more concentrated, so the volume purchased would last longer.

I like proper ph products much better for stablizing the ph in my tanks.

Pros: cheap

Cons: really doesn't work well
