This test is very easy to use-fill tube to the line with aquarium water and add 5 drops of solution. Cap tube and gently invert a couple times. Then wait 5 minutes and compare color in tube to colors on card. It is easy to tell the difference between the colors-I wish I could say the same for the API nitrate test kit!

this kit is a must to keep aquarium water at the correct ph level. it is easy to use and very accurate. using it regularly,especially after cleaning tank and disturbing rocks and pebbles, will save you from loosing fish.
