Good for muck

You almost need to clean the pond before you vaccuum. I was hoping to find a vaccuum that picks up leaves and muck. But so far, not so. The big sycamore leaves clog up the vaccuum. So you have to pull them out by hand, and then vaccuum up just the sludge.
Pros: Gets up the slime
Cons: Not the leaves
