The Book to Buy!

posted 6 years ago

This book has photos and descriptions of all of the marine fishes of the world, and the photos are all full-colour. With each photo, there are symbols which give information about the kind of diet the fish eats, where in the water column it typically swims (top/middle/benthic), it's geographic range, ideal temperature, salinity, and if suited for captive keeping, the minimum size aquarium it needs.

Dr. Burgess's book is a great gift for anyone with ANY interest in marine fishes, and is a great reference book as well as making a nice coffee-table book.

I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in keeping marine fishes or currently keeps marine fishes.

Pros: Beautiful full colour photographs, features all marine fishes, hard bound, comes from an expert.

Cons: Not always easy to find at local bookstore.

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
