Ozone is extremely useful for clarifying aquarium water because it attacks dissolved organics, bacteria, and small organic particles. If you are using this helpful compound to keep your tank clean and healthy, you will need an Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP) monitor. This essential device measures the activity of ozone in your tank. The higher the ORP, the more ozone is present in your tank. If levels ever fluctuate to the extreme on either side, it can spell disaster for you aquarium's inhabitants. Comes complete with a top-quality platinum sensor to insure precision and long life!

Reliable monitor

posted 6 years ago

I have found this monitor to be very reliable.

It is easy to set up and calibrate.

Pros: easy to calibrate/set up

Cons: have to mail order monitor and replacement probes.
