I tried a floating kind but it was always facing the wrong way. I've had my thermometer like this a while and it's still good. I use 2 just in case and this one is still plugging along like new!

A decent thermometer.

This is a decent thermometer. I like this style better than the floating type as, with those, you have to catch them and hold them up to actually read them. This hangs on the edge of your tank, you just look through the glass to read it. The metal hanger is extremely durable ... a decent thermometer all in all.
Pros: A decent thermometer.
Cons: Non found.
