While this was more expensive than some of the other products, I trust Mardel products. I used it years ago for fin rot in some new fish before I switched to a Pimifix Melafix combo. It was cleared up in one round of treatment after another product failed to help. I found it helpful and the fish were introduced a week later with no further problems.

I have a Betta that has popeye, and I ran to the store to get some medicine. I don't know of many betta's in a 10 gallon tank and that is what the packets are set for, so I have to estimate on how much medicine to put into my less than a gallon tank, but seems to be helping the problem.

Cons: Not made for small aquariums

We were happy that this product effectively treated a popeye condition on our swordtail in a timely manner.
