These filters aren't bad when you first you use them. However after the carbon starts to get water run through the pouch the more the carbon all starts to clump up at the bottom so the top half of the filter bag is not having water run by the carbon because it's all on the bottom.
Pros: Easy to change out old and put in new
Cons: All the carbon eventually shifts to the bottom of the bag.
