Hagen Aquaclear Activated Carbon Insert

There's not much I can say about a carbon filter, but I do use them and believe they do what they are supposed to do. They need to be changed periodically, but it is a simple process that doesn't take much time at all.

The only "complaint" I have is that the charcoal/carbon packets are initially, well, charcoaly! Charcoal dust does scatter when the plastic bag is opened and the packet has to be rinsed. It is a good idea to open the packet inside a garbage can or plastic grocery bag so that there is less mess.

Used this in my tank over 5 yrs keeped the tank clean and very easy to use loved it
