I have two turtle tanks and one tank with goldfish in it. I can not say enough good things about this filter. I have one of each size and they do a great job at keeping my tank clean. I like how they are under water because our power goes out now and then and I hate the noise of the above water line filters trying to suck up enough water. I always wondred what would happen if the power went out and back on when we were not home. With this filter I know that once the power kicks back on it does not need my help to start up again. Cleaning is easy as well. You can't go wrong with this brand. I have went through many filters with my fish tanks and this brand has handled a turtle for over two years.
