This might have been an isolated incident, but if someone out there is looking to buy a replacement case for this thing, then maybe it isn't. I had problems with the lid on this case. It didn't enjoy staying down in place, which showed dangerous potential when the water level inside the filter was high enough to spill from the back edge. This happened once. After spending a couple of hours cleaning up the mess, I sat a jar candle on top of the lid...which solved my problem completely. But maybe you don't want a random object sitting on your filter.

Just a heads up. If you're reading this, looking to replace the case for these same reasons...then maybe this isn't isolated and you should look into finding a different solution (or a jar candle).
