Eheim Canister Filters

I own one of these and love it as it keeps the tank looking great. It's a well running filter,but you do have to clean it occasionally to keep it at it's best.

Now that I've used it a while longer,I wanted to let you know that I still love it! I think one of the best things that I like is the fact that these filters have a lot of room inside of them so that you can add not only the numerous types of filters that the Eheim line carries,but there's also enough of space to add some Bio Filter Media.These cylinders are great to add as they encourage beneficial bacteria growth to help eliminate harmful ammonia and nitrite levels in your aquarium water.Over all,you can tweak the filter to the needs that your personal fish tank has.
Rinse the filters,etc.,off on occasion with tank water during a water change,and they're good to go again!
The filter is also Very quiet which is a big + in my house!

Pros: Very good at doing its job

Cons: cost is somewhat higher than average

eheim are the best canister filters available. they are not cheap but they are worth the money
