this cartridge is reusable indefinately and you can use carbon, biofoam, or whatever filter media you deem necessary for your tank... consult a pro if you're unsure which is best for your application (or just use carbon!)

Great Filter!

This filter is very effective. My tank was very clean after I bought it. It's a little bulky, though, and it takes up some room in the tank. That's acceptable, though, because it's so useful.
