I love these Eheim products!!!
By the time I did all the layers of bio bug media,filter pads,,the fine filter.etc., I was ready to go.Having multiple filter media is great,but actually witnessing what can still show up on that last fine filter pad is amazing/
Pros: easy to find/does make a difference when using
Cons: none so far
