I bought this dog food awhile ago with the intention of getting my dog to eat something healthy. After I purchased it, I realized that it had many additives and other ingridients that are not healthy for my dogs. Furthermore, my dog wouldn't eat it! He did not like the taste.

I've been feeding both of my dogs Beneful for a couple years now and they absolutely love it. They literally jump up and down for breakfast and dinner! I buy the lower calorie, vegetable type and mix canned green beans with it and my dogs have kept their weight down! Their coats are shiny, they have energy, and they think their food is a treat!

Pros: Keeps weight down, provides energy, good price

Cons: not many varieties

Beneful is great tasting and inexpensive. It's made by Purina so it's a trusted brand. I have fed it exclusively to my 2 current dogs and a dog that has now passed away. They all love it, and eat all of the different pieces. It's great because i can get it at the grocery as well as pet specialty stores like Petsmart.

All of my dogs eat this food and love it! My Dodger eats all the red pieces first (the meat) and leaves the green and orange pieces for last (peas and carrots). My dogs have healthy shiny coats, none are overwieght, and they all love what they eat! I couldn't be more happier with this dog food!

Pros: Very nutritious without the cost!

Cons: Contains vegetables which my puppy eats last!
