A GREAT PLANT
posted 5 years ago
These are great to use in your fish tanks.I have them in quite a few of mine. Not only are they cost friendly, they also look very realistic when the fronds are gently swaying from the motion of the filter water.Every once in a while, they tend to get a little Algae growth after being in the tank for so long.I tend to like that look myself, but there have been times when I took the plants out and cleaned them.I use a bit of white vinegar with some hot water, let them soak a bit and gently brush with a toothbrush I have especially for my aquarium plants. They clean up really easy.Being that the selection of live aquarium plants are usually limited in the pet stores, and that they are sometimes more demanding than our tank is able to provide, these silk plants certainly come in handy. They do the job,and it takes many years before they look bad enough to replace.:)Well worth the low investment needed!
Pros: cost friendly realistic
