All natural, works great for fin rot. Nice to add with new fish without stressing everybody. Smell isn't the greatest but not terrible. Easy to find - you can even pick it up at walmart. Remove your carbon filter before adding.

I love Melafix! Yes, it kind of smells, but its managable. My betta has had pop eye twice, and both times Melafix has healed him. It works in seven days as the bottle says and doesn't make the water cloudy. The only visible affect on the water is a layer of bubbles on top.

Pros: It healed my betta's pop eye within seven days!

Cons: It has a very strong odor and requires a 25% water change after 7 days.
