I have used this, in the past, when fillnig my fish tanks. Now I find nothing works fine. This works though

Used in new tanks

I was told to use this product when adding any water to my fish tank. So, I used it. On some occasions, I forgot to use it. Mostly with the same result. So, I can't prove one way or another if this actually works.

Pros: It seems to work

Cons: I can't prove it works or not.
