I have a 55gallon tank so filters don't last very long with this thing. Other then that it works great for trying to prevent higher ph levels and algae.

Pros: Very effective!

Cons: filters only last for 55gallons

I'd recommend this for tanks under 30 gallons.

Pros: cheaper than ro/di

Cons: replace cartidge often
