I use this filter in 3 of my smaller tanks, and it is fantastic! The first one I bought is still going strong 6 years later. The bio-wheel is a necessary when setting up a new tank, and keeping established ones clear and clean!! The filters are cheap, easy to find, and easy to replace. They are also nice and quiet :)

Pros: Easy to clean, and change filters.

Cons: Somtimes it's hard to find a retailer.

I think that the water filter is a very good product to try. It is usually pretty quiet, and it does he job of a water filter very well. It does seem to get pretty dirty quickly though.

Pros: It is very silent, cans well

Cons: It gets dirty very fast
