I have one of these and they're easy to store when not in use because they come apart, but once they're assembled, they're sometimes difficult to put into a tank. You've got to take everything off of the top of your tank, and depending upon your setup, that may be difficult.

You also have to be alert if you've put a mother to be in this net because if she gives birth and you're not around, she'll have eaten her little ones by the time you get back.

I have one of these in my 75 gallon. My African dwarf frogs use it as a hang out. They sit on the outside of it and hold on so they're closer to the surface. I've raised a few fry inside it. It does a good job at keeping the fry away from your adult fish. The net seperates away from the plastic tubing though, leaving gaps where little fry can go and get stuck. It's really hard to explain. I do prefer this over the plastic types though. I think the water circulation is better with this net. I've recommended it because most stores only carry this and the plastic type, and I prefer this one. I've had mine in the tank for months with no problems. Gererally, I like Penn Plax products!
