I prefer the magnetic scraper over this contraption, but it's effective nonetheless.

This product is nice and hand held. It is a very affective product. The only problem is that the blade breaks after a while of use.

This is a great little tool for the algae that just has to be scraped, and I will say it's safer than a razor blade. I always remove the fish if I have to use the razor blade to scrape. I felt it safe enough to use this with the fish in the tank. They were curious but there were no injuries. I got quite a few uses out of it before it developed dull spots and didn't work as well.
