Riding Lessons by Sara Gruen

Riding Lessons, by Sara Gruen, was a pretty good book. It was not fantastic, but it held my attention. Truthfully, I had been expecting extravagance because I'd already read Water for Elephants by the same author, which is one of my favorite novels. The plot in Riding Lessons was a little predictable at times, and although the characters were interesting, a lot of their decisions left me frustrated. There is a sequel, Flying Changes, which I do plan to read.
Pros: decent book, entertaining
Cons: a little disappointing
