This was my favorite book as a child. I named my toy horses after Flicka. All kids should have a chance to read this book!

I loved this story when I was a child and hope to read it to my daughter.

Pros: I love the story of Flika, it is very heartwarming

Cons: there always has to be drama in the book, so not suitable for all ages:)
