A must read

posted 6 years ago

It has been a while since I read this and it is definitely on my list to read again. It is a moving story about a dog named Buck who struggles between choosing civilization and answering the call of the wild. It is well written. Once I started it, I couldn't put it down. I highly recommend it.

Pros: very moving story

Cons: none

One of the best dog books

posted 7 years ago

I love reading Jack London's fiction. Call of the Wild was the first book of his I read, when I was about 12, and I still remember the description of huge, mixed-breed Buck and how he ended up a sled dog. It's pretty rough in places for some sensitive readers, but well worth getting through it. It's some of the finest storytelling ever.

Pros: Timeless writing style

Cons: Brutal in parts, but reflective of the times

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
