I used this collar for my dog after she had hip surgery and again when she ended up with some sort of fungal infection on her hip. She would bite the skin until it was raw, and this collar allowed me to put medication on the area and gave the wound time to heal. I see these collars used a lot for a variety of issues, mainly those surrounding spay and neuters.

This is such a great thing to have when you need one! My dog had an eye issue and had to wear one of these for about ten days to keep him from scratching his eyes. It does work very well. Great for post surgical use too. I kept mine to use again if needed. They come in different sizes for all sized dogs.

We use E-collars at the shelter alot. The Butler ones are more affordable than other ones. We are able to use these over and over which is even better. They are easy to clean between dogs.
